After you have installed the Reflection Program,
you will need to set it up to work with OME-RESA.

If you created a shortcut on the desktop, double-click it.

Choose from the Connection pull-down menu

Connect to Best Network

In the Host:  198.234.229.66

Click OK

You should see a Username prompt.

If you have an Omalp0 login, go ahead and log in.

If installing Reflection version 9.0, the backspace
key does not delete as it backspaces, so we need to fix this.

Choose from the Setup pull-down menu

Terminal

Choose the Keyboard tab

Change the radio button to VT backspace sends delete

Click OK

If the end users transfers files between their computer
and the Alpha system, you need to tweak the function.

From the File pull-down menu choose

Transfer (You must be logged in, to gain access to this function)

Click on Setup

Highlight Troubleshooting to OpenVMS

Click OK

Any time changes are made to the Reflection program,
such as the ones mentioned above, you will need to
save the settings of the program.

Note:  If the user prints to more than one printer,
make sure that the printer they want setup as the
default for Reflection is chosen before you save
any settings file.

From the File pull-down menu choose

Save As

Click on Save

(If asked to overwrite, say yes)
